👨‍💻Primary Research

One of the interviews I conducted was with Anna, who is concerned about her kids food habits

Below is the mapped out persona for her, an empathy map and I wrote down about her concerns while using the existing solutions

The purpose of primary research is it allow us to validate all the stages till now like Problem Statement, Solution, and Hypotheses.

Interviews and usability testing are a few things that I like to conduct with different groups of people to understand user behavior, decision-making, and user interaction.

Ends up wasting time in travelling to deliver it to her kids.

Bio

Anna is a mother who wants her kids to eat fresh home cooked meals everyday in school, but does not have time everyday to go drop the food. She needs an application where they pick up food from home and deliver it to particular location.

Anna values convenience and Efficiency and also relies on Technology to simplify her daily tasks.

Which delivery/task manager apps do you currently use?

I use Grub Hub and Uber Eats.

What are the features you love about the current app you use?

Love the UI of Grub Hub. UberEATS, I believe is easy to use.

What are the features you think could be additionally added?

What is/are the pain points you are currently facing?

Feature would be to add taskers for daily management of certain tasks such as delivering food from home to school

There is no app that has a feature to perform your day to day tasks

when you get busy

What are the main factors to consider when using a task manager/delivery app?

If I’ve raised a need for a tasker, I think there should be a priority rating in the app to rate the urgency level.

User Interviews 1 : Anna

👉Created a simple user flow which does not take up tooo much time of someone who is already busy

👉 Now that I have few solutions in hand, I started drawing few low fidelity wire-frames on Balsamiq to ideate about the features. After a few iterations I wanted to move to a digital wire-frame, but due to time constraints I was unable to do so and directly went for UI screens(High-Fidelity Screens).

Tell me about your experience using HopDun?

When we live in the city, we never have enough time to do all we want to do. I've

wished for a solution to make my everyday life a bit simpler on several occasions.

A week ago, I had to prepare meals for my ailing sister and deliver it to her home.

HopDun, on the other hand, would be a great solution. All I would have to do is to

schedule a tasker to arrive at my place and pick up the food and deliver it to my

sister's house. A dependable source will makes my life so much easier.

Let’s see what our potential users are telling after testing
